Ⅱ. PRE-ROLEPLAYING PROCEDURES OFFICIAL RULES Ⅰ. Character Application Once you've registered, you'll find yourself lost- or I hope not at least XD Before you can do anything, you must create a character profile. To do that, you must go to the character workshop portion of the forum, and fill out the template. The template is the exoskeleton to your profile, and can be altered and changed to however you heart's desire. Thought, there's a catch. You add, but not take away inserted items. So the template is considered the required material. Once you have fully filled out your application, you must wait for a moderator or admin to approve it. Ⅱ. Collab Pages Every character must have a Plotter and Thread Tracker. A Plotter is used for general brainstorming with other users. It's a page that describes your character's personality, likes, dislikes, friends, enemies, ext. Once you post such page, others can look and possibly want to collab with you. Interesting, hu? There's a rule however. You cannot collab with someone unless your own is done. I mean, what does the other person have to look at? The Thread Tracker is used to track what threads your character has been in, and participated in. Keep in mind that LIQUID TIME ISN'T ALOUD. That means your character can only be in one place at a time. Keep in mind that default templates will be available for you, if your to lazy to make your own XD c'mon, who hasn't been lazy? .. *slowly raises hand* Ⅲ. Posting Template Conditions I know on some sites it's required to have a Threading Posting Template, and others it's banned. Here on Beyond the Stars, it is OPTIONAL. It will stay like this until there are complaints, and hence there may be changes to this rule. Don't know what a template is? Oh, you'll know when you see it. Otherwise, just ask Ⅳ. Posting Length Requirements The required word count is 100 words. It's low for you intermediate writers. Though, unlike other forums, there is no word max or cap! So write a book if you want! But one liners aren't aloud. Some users may have exceptions, depending on there current situation (AKA: Cell Phone Banished, but it's encouraged to write as much as you can!) Ⅴ. Making Thread Once you've either plotted or not, there are some conditions when making threads. You CAN NOT miss place a thread. For an example, you can't put a thread that takes place in the sahara in the antarctic folder. Please place it accordingly. If you accidently place it wrongly, just ask a thread to help you delete it, or move it. However, if it's a repeated offense, the 'joker' will be punished. Some sites make premade threads with the location name on it, while other make a name and use it for plotting references. On The Stars Beyond, it is encouraged the writer makes the thread accordingly to plotting references. AKA: Name it whatever you want. But keep it sensored, and on topic. I don't want to find threads named 'satan's buttcrack' XD The only exception to this rule is random and planned events, which are posted ONLY by the staff! Great! You've read through the 'Pre-Roleplay Rules and Procedures' portion of the rules. Your first key word is THE DEAD ZONE! | OFFICAL RULES |
