When one means read everything, it means read the rules, the plot, and other crucial threads and pages. This gives the interested person an idea of what there getting into, and whether they want to back out or not. Don't worry, we won't be rude and snappy if you forget to read one or two things- but the entire rule section? Ya, that won't cut it. Besides, if you don't read, it might sneak up on you once you do join! Ⅱ. RP Level Incase you didn't know, The Stars Beyond is an intermediate to advanced Roleplay, which means you need to have at least a bit of experience under your belt. When one mean's experience, it means to be able to write at least a few sentences, and be able to know the basic rules. Don't be scared or worried if you see other users writing books for posts, all that matters is that you know your stuff Ⅲ. Plot Line and Lore The Stars Beyond is an original space role play, and isn't apart of any continuity or franchise. Though it is BASED, or takes one or two ideas from a few series, it doesn't mean it's a canon based. So don't think your going to bring Darth Vader or Optimus Prime in this >.< Ⅳ. Account Structure The Account structure is very wide ranged here on The Stars Beyond. Every user is required to have one main account, or an OCC account, that controls and keeps track off plotting and characters. And for every character you make, you must make an account for them. Sign Up Mechanics When first registering, enter you entire username, or an acronym in which shortens your display name. You may edit once you approve your account and such, giving you the freedom to change whenever you please. However, when making a character account, it's crucial use use the following setup for you username: [lastname][first letter of first name]. So, with this set up it will be Jessica Heathfire = heathfirej. Not to hard, right? If your account isn't entered right, you'll be forced to delete your account and enter it properly. This may seem like an inconvenience at first, but it help people when tagging others in posts ^-^ And, to avoid having to use various emails, use the Switch Account wigit at the bottom right hand corner of your screen (the one with the two dudes and the arrows). This will help you both save time when changing accounts, and not have to use various emails. Great! You've read through the 'Before you Make a Account' portion of the rules.
